We are thrilled to read in The Grocer that Earth & Wheat, the wonky bread subscription service launched by a 21-year-old baker, has already sent 700 boxes of bread to Ukrainian refugees in Poland.
On their Instagram account Earth & Wheat show an inspiring image of bread being loaded onto a lorry ready to drive to Poland, there comment stated 'Earth & Wheat sends 9 pallets, 4,000 meals, the equivalent of £5,000 worth of wonky bread boxes to Ukraine Refugees. In partnership with Warrens Logistics, Oakland International and the Red Cross.'
